At a time when Jim Crow Laws ruled our land; racial segregation was social practice and redlining was institutional policy, Marian Anderson and Albert Einstein defied social norms - They became friends. I created this set of story scrolls to celebrate two courageous people, a singer and a scientist, who shared a love of music, a belief in racial equality and a commitment to justice.
